One of the youngest members of the Airways Freight team, Jake Oskey is holding his own in the Night Operations Department. From tracking shipments to supporting customers with their freight, Jake puts his all into everything he does.

Jake started his journey with Airways in January of 2017, working part-time in the Trade Show department entering data into the system. After graduating in May, he subsequently moved to full-time Night Operations and has been there since. What he loves most about working at Airways, is the positivity shown by his colleagues and the wonderful team morale they share. One of his favorite things about working on the night crew is assisting new employees in their nightly tasks, as well as offering assistance whenever needed.

Born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, Jake grew up in Farmington. His childhood was abundant with fond memories of playing video games with his brother and the many friends they had. At the age of 6, Jake began playing football, and by high school was the smallest linebacker in 5A, he and his team won all conference. One of the things he is most proud of is that he can also throw a football close to 60 yards!

Jake and his wife Kyle have been married for a little over a year. They share two beagles, an 8-month-old named Chloe and a 2-month-old named Colt. They love spending time with family and in his spare time he picked up the guitar as a hobby.

Jake has never been out of the country, but someday would love to travel. He is very social and enjoys helping others. His favorite quote is by Vince Lombardi “Winners never quit, and quitters never win”.

Whether it’s tossing a football or tracking a shipment, Jake always gives 100%. He strives daily to learn as much as he can about the industry and Airways Freight and we are very proud of his endeavors.
